"I spent one night at this little treasure of a hotel with my two teen daughters. The weather was frigid but the moment we walked through the doors of the Alexander Inn we were warmed and welcomed. It was the perfect location for my daughter's audition for UArts and close enough to the historic sights that we could walk, even in 20 degree weather. The complimentary breakfast was more than we anticipated and we all left for our early day feeling rested and satisfied. After a couple of hours of sightseeing we came back to the room for a rest (and a hot bath for me) before checkout. We had some time to kill waiting for my daughter to finish at her audition and the manager allowed us to stay in the adorable dining room where we were warm and cozy. I hope my daughter goes to school in Philly just so I have an excuse to stay here again and again! "
